Author: likely Henry Dean White - brother

Henry Dean White was a 19 year-old Clerk who on 12/2/1863 at Taunton, MA, as a Private.  On 2/8/1864 he mustered into "B" Co. MA 58th Infantry.  He was Mustered Out on 7/20/1865  In January of 1865, his unit was in winter quarters at Fort Meikle outside of Petersburg.

Bezar L. White was the Father of Henry and William and is listed a grocer in 1860-1880 census records.  Henry is listed as a grocer following the war.
